Our story
It all began in 2015 when DICE Australia (DA) engaged Renascent as a subcontractor on a Department of Health project in Bega, NSW.
Requiring more than 100 bathrooms, the project required additional manpower to meet the delivery schedule.
A mutual friend introduced the DICE team to Renascent’s regional team, and the two companies began working on what would become the first of many successful projects together.
The partnership
DICE had approached Twofold Bay Aboriginal Corporation to see if they had any young people that would want to come learn a trade.
There were no prior commitments or targets to train anyone – but they were going to be there for a couple of months and it’s just what they do.
Renascent were happy to help provide training for these young people at their own cost in order to create local employment.
That’s when DICE saw that the Renascent team had their heart and their heads in the right spot.
The project was delivered over several months through which a strong relationship was formed between DICE and Renascent.
The business is formed
With these similar values and business goals, it became evident there was potential to further develop this partnership.
Renascent had the scale and experience to provide mentorship and infrastructure to support DICE, and DICE had the networks, experience and cultural insights to support Renascent.
Dice Renascent was established.
